Warriors of Erebor with Spears

Here's another post for today, this time showcasing my Warriors of Erebor that I painted for last weekends battle. I've just done the spearmen so far, as that is what I used. What is nice is that the sprue comes with extra shields so even the models without one sculpted on can be given one. I will probably add some later.
Without further ado, I give you: The Warriors of Erebor (with spears)

The armor and weapons follow my Grim Hammer paint scheme (Leadbelcher followed by a Badab Black wash, spearshafts painted Charadon Granite). Belts and gloves are Scorched Brown. The shirts are Vermin Brown, some with Snakebite Leather trim and washed with Badab Black. The unarmored boots are Vomit Brown. I went with that color as a means to try to add in some color elements from my other dwarves, since sculpt-wise they are pretty different. Maybe that will add a little continuity when both forces are on the table together. Also as with my Grim Hammers, the beards and hair are paired up as follows: Scorched Brown with Bestial Brown highlights, Vermin Brown with Snakebite Leather highlights, and Adeptus Battlegrey with Spacewolves Grey highlights. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy :)
