Memorial Day 2014

Good evening, I just wanted to take a short break from the usual. Today is Memorial Day in the US, a day to remember all the men & women who have given their lives in service to this country. I want to take a brief moment to recognize two special people.
The first, is Staff Sergeant Jacob Dyk my wife's grandfather. Tank Commander, US Army, Europe, WWII.
The second, is Corporal Peter G. Hennip, my own grandfather. 90th Infantry Division, US Army, Europe, WWII. Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge.

They both made it home, but many did not in this and the other wars of our nations history. We miss them both, but are happy for the time that they were here with us. Thank you.
