The armor is Leadbelcher (my Boltgun Metal is almost exhausted) with a Badab Black wash. The pick hammers handles are Charadon Granite, and the spike at the end as well as the hammer head are Leadbelcher, washed with Badab Black and highlighted with Chainmail. The belts are Scorched Brown. The beards are Scorched Brown highlighted with Bestial Brown, Vermin Brown highlighted with Snakebite Leather, and Adeptus Battle Grey highlighted with Space Wolves Grey. There is a line of Mithril Silver on the cloth to serve as an embroidered hem. Stay tuned for some of my Warriors of Erebor. I am also in the process of working on the battle report from the last weekend and hope to have that up in a few days or so. Thanks for reading :)

Grim Hammers
Good morning, I know I'm late (again) but here are some pictures of my recently completed Grim Hammer dwarves from The Army of Thror. They were relatively simple to paint, and I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I think I like them. Now one day I need to paint my other six... Hope you enjoy :)

very nice. every time I see these painted up I start to think this non-dwarf player should pick up a box or two
ReplyDeleteThanks :) They are probably my favorite warrior models from the Hobbit range so far and I've wanted to get some for some time now. Pretty simple to paint too, which is nice.
